Crouse Strong
I was recently commissioned by Crouse Hospital’s Diversity and inclusion office @crousehealth here in Syracuse to create a piece that they could hang up in their facility. I had an instant flashback to being a kid and going to the doctors and looking at the artwork. It was giving very much flowers and muted tones. For my piece I wanted to shoutout the black and brown staff at Crouse, along with hospitals everywhere who have had to risk their lives daily in order to help others. Covid 19 gave me a glimpse into the sacrifices healthcare workers make daily and all I know is I could never lol so This is my thank you to you all! A special shout out to all of the donors that made this project possible! Shoutout to Twiggy Eure and my late aunt Veronica Clanton for bringing me on to this project. More soon!
